Neil Diamond is bringing people together

Yesterday, we visited Mom at Linden and were having a perfectly nice visit. I then flipped thru the channels and found Neil Diamond in Concert! The older man visiting Mom's roommate says "Neil is my man." So, they asked me which channel it was on. They couldn't find it so I tried on their TV and the remote would just skip over the channel and not show it. I then gave it to Cole who is supposedly superior to me on gadgets (whatever....). He could not get it to stop on that channel either. We had to say thanks but no thanks. However, Neil is still bringing people together!

Jenny and Brian's Wedding Party

Jenny and Brian's wedding party was terrific. It was so much fun. The new couple looked very happy and in love. They looked great!

We enjoyed visiting with family and especially hearing Russ and Steve's stories from the "old days." Everybody was having a good time. Rayna and Erin didn't want to leave but we had to do some things for tomorrow and I am on Casino Duty. Please watch the short slide show attached.

White Coat Ceremony - Class of 2013

Abby invited us to attend the White Coat Ceremony for the Medical College of Wisconsin Class of 2013.
Abby and her fiancee, Andy, are now living in Wauwatosa where Abby started her first year at the Medical College.  It will be four exciting and challenging years for her (and for Andy).

The College has a symbolic donning of the White Coats ceremony for all first year students.  It was inspiring for us to see so much brain power in one room.  Michael and I, of course, lowered the average.  Our estimation is that half of the students were women and 35% were of some other ethnicity than white... Indian, Sikh, Latino, Asian, African American., etc.  Michael commented that these kids will be taking care of us when we become Octogenarians.

There were a few scintillating speeches ;>)...  Michael's head bobbed only a few times.
We are all very excited and proud for Abby as I'm sure you all are.
