Virgin Lake
When I was fairly young, maybe a young teen, Amy and I spent around 5 days upnorth by Uncle Charlie's place in Three Lakes. We fished alot. Julie and Terese may have been there but I am not sure. The thing I remember is that Uncle Charlie kept getting my name mixed up with his dog's name. He called me Hankie-Boy a number of times. Amy and I went fishing and caught like 4 or 5 nice crappies. We put them on a stringer and an hour later when we pulled the stringer up, there were no fish! I know the lake was good for fishing but it seems like we never caught much but it was fun anyhow. It would be cool to go back there some day. Mom and Dad almost bought the place but the selling cost changed which made it cost-prohibitive. We were bummed but it made for one good summer.

We've tried to find Uncle Charlie's place some years ago, but couldn't recognize it. Must've been many renovations. I don't remember the stringer of Crappies, Nick, but I do remember one fishing outing where I spent most of my time untangling lines. Tom might have been along. Another time we took a small stream out of the lake with adventurous hopes of coming into another lake... and didn't. Any recollection? I'll share the Uncle Charlie peach pie story later.
